Volunteer

Lend a hand, change a life

Our shelter runs on neighbors and churches serving side by side. Whatever your gifts, there's a place for you here.

Ways to Help

Find your fit

No experience needed — just a willing heart. Every volunteer must pass a background check before serving.

  • Serve a meal

Prepare and serve warm meals to guests at one of our host churches during the shelter season.

  • Host overnight

Be a friendly, caring presence overnight, welcoming guests and helping the evening run smoothly.

  • Sort donations

Organize blankets, warm clothing, hygiene items, and supplies so they reach guests quickly.

  • Mentor & encourage

Walk alongside a guest with a listening ear, life-skills coaching, or help finding the next step.
